We can try to get out of this social and existential disaster produced by the pandemic in two ways. The first way - which is not an exit, but a compulsion to repeat - is to think of returning to how we were before, therefore hedonism, nightlife, consumerism, selfishness, abuse of social media, comfort zones but also a dramatic increase of the environmental crisis. The second way instead presupposes a radical change of our way of life, recovering wisdom, kindness, poetry, true sustainability and therefore responsibility towards others, towards the biosphere and future generations. Starting from these beliefs, the authors critically analyze the current system and seek solutions to its irrationality, to try to get out of it (and also of the pandemic), in the second possible way.
